Montgomery's note likely references a postcard received from MacMillan: other notes on her postcards to MacMillan reference well-known Scottish sites shown on postcards he sent to her. The best-known "Seven Sisters" site in the British Isles is a series of chalk cliffs overlooking the English Channel at the edge of the South Downs in East Sussex, England, but it is unclear if this is the location Montgomery is referring to here.
