Elizabeth Epperly to Lead Five-Year Strategic Plan for the LMMI


The L.M. Montgomery Institute is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative!

With the support of UPEI President, Alaa Abd-El-Aziz, the University has asked Elizabeth Epperly to develop, in collaboration with the LMMI Management Committee, a five-year strategic plan for the LMMI, to include:

i. mechanisms to highlight the LMMI and the Montgomery collection for the benefit of the Institute, the University as a whole, current and prospective students and scholars, and the broader community;

ii. identifying and developing international, national, and local relationships in support of the LMMI, including opportunities for financial support, for partnership, and for engaging international and Canadian scholars and students in the work of the Institute and of the University;

iii. a means whereby a designated Montgomery scholar may become a full-time member of the UPEI faculty, with appropriate administrative support, meeting, research, and display space, to teach, conduct research, and advance the work of the LMMI.

The contract runs to 31 July, 2017.
