FAQ
Q: How do I subscribe to the list?
A: Fill out and send the subscription form. You will receive a message when your subscription is complete. This message will contain a link to the general information page for the list, a link to your personal configuration page, and your password. It is highly recommended that you save or print this message and/or bookmark the links for future reference.
Q: How do I post to the list?
A: The list address is kind_spirits@lists.upei.ca. You must be subscribed to post to the list.
Q: How do I unsubscribe?
A: To unsubscribe, go to your personal configuration page, enter your password and click unsubscribe.
Q: How do I change my subscription mode?
A: To change from bounced mail to digest, go to your configuration page, select "On" under Set Digest Mode, and click submit.
Q: Can I access the list archives?
A: Yes, the archives for the new list are accessible via the general information page. You must be a list member to access the archives.
Q: Can I view the subscribers list?
A: No, the list of subscribers is not available to list members or the general public.
Q: What is a configuration page?
A: The options on your configuration page will allow you to unsubscribe, get password reminders, change your password, and access other mail options such as postponing mail and setting mail mode.
Q: What if I forget my password?
A: Go to your configuration page to get a password reminder. A reminder will automatically be sent to you once a month.
Q: Can I change my preferences via e-mail?
A: Yes, you may do so by sending a request to kind_spirits-request@lists.upei.ca. To get a list of requests, send a message with "help" in the message body.

KS "Kindred Spirits" – This abbreviation will automatically appear in the subject line of your post.
TAN "TANgent" – Use this abbreviation in the subject line of your post if it isn't directly related to Montgomery.
OT "Off Topic" – Use this abbreviation in the subject line of your post if it has nothing to do with Montgomery but is still significant enough to post to the list.
KD "Kindred Day" – Often used in the subject line for Kindred Day posts.
Introductions
Generally, list members post their introductions during their birth month, though you may introduce yourself at any time.
Kindred Day
On the 15th of every month, list members are free to post about anything they wish, though posts usually take the form of a personal update.
Book of the Month
A structured list discussion about one of Montgomery's publications organized by list members, though any Montgomery book is open for discussion at any time.
Chats
Members of the list hold on-line chats on Sundays at 6 p.m. and Tuesdays at 4 p.m. (EST) at Yahoo.
