Dr. Elizabeth Rollins Epperly's new book, Through Lover's Lane: L.M. Montgomery's Photography and Visual Imagination (2007, University of Toronto Press) was launched April 26th at the Confederation Centre in Charlottetown. This latest book from Dr. Epperly has been highly anticipated by Montgomery scholars. This book analyzes Montgomery's photography, and how it connects with the scenery in her literature. This will be the first time that Montgomery's photography will be examined to any great extent. This is Dr. Epperly's third book. Dr. Epperly's previous works include The Fragrance of Sweet-Grass: L.M. Montgomery's heroines and the pursuit of romance. Epperly co-edited L.M. Montgomery and Canadian Culture with Dr. Irene Gammel, and co-edited My Dear Mr. M: letters to G.B. MacMillan with Francis W.P. Bolger.
