LMMI Presents: Community Lectures on L.M. Montgomery

As many of you know, the LMMI is looking for a Chair in L.M. Montgomery Studies & Communication, Leadership and Culture. The committee has selected the three top candidates, who will be giving a lecture that is open to everyone.

The first one is this Friday, March 10th by Dr. Benjamin Lefebvre, and the subsequent talks will be given later this month. 

Here are the detais: 

1. "No Matter Where We Wander: L.M. Montgomery Writes Prince Edward Island in Ontario," with Dr. Benjamin Lefebvre, Ryerson University.

When: Friday, 9 March at 3:15

Where: Main Building, Room 211

2. "'World Famed Island Novelist' and 'Canny Businesswoman': L.M. Montgomery's Presence in Canadian Periodicals," with Dr. Sarah Galletly, James Cook Univeristy. 

When: Friday, 24 March  at 3:15pm 

Where: SDU Main 211

3. "Anne of Green Gables in the City: Introducing Halifax's Literary Landmarks," with Dr. Kate Scarth, Dalhousie University. 

When: Thursday, 30 March 6:30pm 

Where: K.C. Irving Chemistry Centre, Room 104

The presentations will not be live-streamed, but will be uploaded to UPEI's You Tube page after the talk.
